ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Istituto Marangoni Miami and Kid Cudi have partnered to create an extraordinary opportunity for the next generation of fashion visionaries. The Kid Cudi Scholarship provides tuition support to outstanding students pursuing fashion design, ensuring access to a world-class education at one of the most prestigious fashion schools in the U.S.

This collaboration is built on a shared commitment to creativity, innovation, and accessibility in fashion education. Through this initiative, talented students will have the opportunity to study at Istituto Marangoni Miami, located in the heart of the Miami Design District, a global hub for fashion, art, and culture.

The scholarship is designed for students who demonstrate exceptional creativity, dedication, and leadership in fashion design. It’s about removing obstacles and giving talented students the opportunity to focus on their dreams without financial barriers. Selected recipients will join a global network of designers, collaborate with industry leaders, and develop the skills needed to shape the future of fashion.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Ethnic Background The Kid Cudi Scholarship is awarded exclusively to students from underrepresented ethnic communities, including: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American.
  • Demonstrated Financial Need This scholarship is intended for students who may not otherwise have the financial means to pursue a private fashion education. Applicants may be required to submit financial documentation during the selection process.
  • Application to the Fashion Design Program Applicants must apply to a fashion design program at Istituto Marangoni Miami, including: Bachelor of Fashion Design (BFA) | One-Year Fashion Design Vocational Program (VP) . Required materials include: official transcripts and diploma, resume, valid identification, and personal statement.
  • Portfolio Submission Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing their creative work and design potential to scholarships@immiami.com.
  • Application Deadline All applicants must submit their application by May 1, 2025.

Fashion Design Program Details

Visit the application page: Go to www.immiami.com/apply and access the application form. This page will guide you through the application process and available program options.

Select your program: Choose "Undergraduate" and "Bachelor of Fashion Design" or "Vocational Programs" and "One-Year Fashion Design" as your intended course of study.

Complete your personal information: Fill out the application form with accurate personal and contact details to ensure a smooth admissions process.

Submit the application fee: A $100 non-refundable application fee is required to complete your submission.

Prepare and upload your portfolio: Your portfolio should showcase your creativity, technical ability, and personal vision in fashion design. You will also need to submit official transcripts and diploma, a resume highlighting any experience in fashion or creative industries, a valid form of identification, and a personal statement.

Confirm submission and next steps: Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with further details. Scholarship finalists may be required to participate in an interview as part of the final selection process.

The application deadline is May 1, 2025. By following these steps, you’ll be on your way to joining one of the most dynamic and prestigious fashion communities in Miami.

NEXT STEPS

Once your application is complete, send your portfolio to scholarships@immiami.com for review. The deadline for portfolio submission is May 1st.

The admissions team will carefully evaluate each submission and contact selected applicants for an interview. Finalists will be reviewed by Kid Cudi and his team, and the scholarship recipient will be announced on May 23rd.

Upon acceptance, the scholarship winner will receive guidance on enrollment, course registration, and preparation for their journey at Istituto Marangoni Miami.
